Our Philosophy when it comes to Competitive Dance,

Take it seriously but not too seriously. The amount of kids that will graduate and continue dancing after HS is SMALL. SO - why not push ourselves to be the best we can be, while still remembering at the end of the day… a convention scholarship or that 1st overall is not necessarily going to get us anywhere in the real world. The things we take from competitive dance are LIFE LESSONS. How to demand a room, how to walk and talk with confidence, how to learn to be on a team, how to learn to win and lose with GRACE.

Is competitive dance fun? YES. Is it the end-all-be-all? NO.

At MOVE By Morelli we pride ourselves on our competitive team(s) being the top in the area. We like to think of our teams as CLUBS! Dance parties that are exclusive to those who want to take their dancing to the next level. One team is high energy/intense, and the other is “lounge-y” and laid back - BOTH equally as FUN!

One thing that sets us apart from others (that we’ve been told numerous times) is our overall organization and ability to execute when it comes to the backend stuff. We try our best to be super organized and give parents all their information upfront including financials, events, requirements - EVERYTHING. <<< Nothing to do with dance whatsoever, but arguably one of the most important.
